We approached Hannah when our son was 2 and a half and we realised he was considerably behind his peer group in general speech development - it was the best thing we could have done! The NHS route has only caught up with us a year further on. During that time Hannah has been of huge support, our son Zac has significantly grown in confidence and his speech has improved beyond measure. Zac looked forward to her visits with great enthusiasm, the sessions were always fun and Hannah's suggestions about how to help Zac on a day to day basis to ensure he progressed were invaluable. I would highly recommend Hannah and her services to anyone concerned about their childs speech development, and looking for a fresh, professional approach which is equally fun for the child and parents alike.

My daughter Sophie has been receiving Speech and Language Therapy with Hannah through the Bradford Down Syndrome Training and Support Service. Initally Sophie was very reluctant to join in the group sessions, however as a result of Hannah's patience and support Sophie is growing in confidence and enjoying the sessions. As a parent I have found the sessions really useful, helping me to feel more confident in supporting Sophie in her speech. The sessions are fun, informative, with lots of ideas of activities and resources. I have been using the activities at home with Sophie and as a result have seen her Speech and Language skills develop. Hannah has a lovely rapport with both the children and the parents, making it very easy to approach her with any concerns and ask for advise. I would recommend Hannah without hesitation.

Hannah has been following our son Gabriel for 4 months now and he has been making impressive progress since the beginning of his therapy. Hannah has been able to create an enthusiastic environment allowing Gabriel to do his best and in which he is wishing to improve.
She provides us with excellent techniques and material which will also help the transition from nursery to school.
I would greatly recommend to parents who have concerns with their child's language to contact Hannah as she could be trusted to give a fair assessment of his/her language level.

I would highly reccommend Hannah to any parents who are considering speech and Language Therapy for their child.
Myself and my wife decided to take the private route as there was a wait for a NHS Theapist and we are so glad we met
Hannah. After five months of Therapy we can definately see a huge change in our daughter's speech and language and we're very
happy with her progress. Family and friends have seen a big improvement too.
Hannah is very professional and her help and support have been invaluable. We look forward to working with
Hannah again in the new year.

I would definitely recommend Hannah to any concerned parents whose child is having difficulties with their speech and language. My son I felt struck a rapport with Hannah straightaway which I felt was the foremost important factor to start with. Hannah made the sessions fun for Michael thus getting the best from him. Her feedback from each session was invaluable giving me lots of ideas and literature to work on with Michael. I found Hannah very efficient and very passionate about my child's individual needs. Compared with the numerous speech and language therapists that Michael has seen I feel Hannah was able to pin point Michael's specific difficulties and provide me with specific literature to help him as much as I can. I am currently using Hannah's ideas and we are not seeing her at present but I feel very reassured that I can contact Hannah when we need to and we can continue where we left off.

Hannah thank you so much for all your help and support to date. The speech and language therapy sessions have been invaluable. The simplest activities have made such a difference to Ava's development. She's learnt so many signs now and is trying hard to say things, make sounds and repeat what we say.

I have a lovely daughter Lucy who just so happens to have downs syndrome. I have been very lucky to meet Hannah and work with her with Lucy, she is a lovely lady very carm and patience with the children, and also making yourself at ease also. We do many activities together from which I can take home and do and I can honestly say I am getting results now. It takes a lot of time and effort on your behalf, but without Hannahs help and enthuastiam I would not be where I am now with Lucy. She answers all my e-mails even the silly ones and is always there to help. So many thanks for that Hannah where would I be without you. x

We have recently engaged Hannah to help us with our son Isaac who is having difficulty with speaking clearly. To date we have had two sessions at home and have found Hannah to be very professional. Her warm and friendly approach instantly put Isaac at ease resulting in productive sessions with Hannah becoming an instant 'hit' with him.
She has analysed Isaac's speech, determined the areas that need improvement and put in place a programme to assist with his difficulties. Hannah has suggested simple exercises for us to do with Isaac in between sessions and whilst it is very early days there are signs that Isaac is responding.

We would not hesitate to recommend Hannah to other people in need of help with speech and language difficulties.

Thanks to Hannah for help with my daughters speech. Initially we didn't know what was going on with her speech; some sounds were missing from the ends of words and some were just wrong. We knew that she would not be seen by a NHS therapist for many months and this worried us greatly. Hannah assessed her speech and was able to pinpoint exactly what was going wrong, but most importantly knew how we could fix it. It was such a relief to have some answers. Hannah has worked with her for about 8 weeks now and the results have been amazing. Everyone has noticed the difference in my daughters speech. We are very grateful for the excellent support and help Hannah has given us all. 28/12/10

She actually said hi ya Daddy the other day, we were both gobsmacked. She is trying so hard to say things it makes me so happy.

Hannah has been working with our sonI saac who has problems with delayed speech and language, she has been working with him for around 6 months. The sessions that Hannah plans for Isaac have always been well thought out and resourced. She always thinks carefully about the skills that Isaac needs to develop and there is an obvious incremental increase in the difficulty of these tasks over time. Isaac loves Hannah and she makes him work incredibly hard during the sessions. Most importantly there has been a huge increase in the language that he uses on a day to day basis and that is in addition to becoming more engaged in the activities offered. This has been great for Isaac and he looks forward to the sessions. I would recommend Hannah to anyone with a child with poor speech and language development. Ruth - Isaac's Mummy
